Jeffco Public Schools is performing investigative work at Bradford Intermediate School to record topography and soil conditions. This work will occur throughout the site but will be restricted mostly to the open field area south of the school and current play fields. The purpose of the work is to determine the possibility of building additional multi-purpose play fields for use by the school and community. If feasible and if funding is secured, these fields will expand the outdoor play and exercise opportunities for the students of Bradford Intermediate. Currently design and construction of the additional fields are not funded; however this investigation will be necessary in order to determine the site’s adequacy.
