2027 REALTOR® Dues Billing Begins October 1st |

It’s almost dues season!
Each year, TCSR sends dues notifications to all members exclusively via email. This year, notifications will be sent on October 1, 2026. Subsequent notices will also be sent via email.
Beginning on October 1, 2026, REALTOR® members and Affiliate members can begin paying their 2027 membership dues in full or via installments. If you’re looking to secure the lowest available dues rate, paying early is key. Members who pay in October will have the opportunity to take advantage of the earliest payment window, at the lowest rate.
Prefer to spread out your payments? Installment options will also be available, giving members the flexibility to pay their dues over multiple payments rather than all at once.
Your membership goes far beyond your annual dues. As a REALTOR®, your membership connects you to a three-way agreement with Tri-County Suburban REALTORS®, Pennsylvania REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®, providing access to advocacy, education, industry resources and member benefits at the local, state and national levels.
Through your TCSR membership, REALTORS® also have access to valuable tools designed to support their business, including free DocuSign, zipForms and FOREWARN accounts, along with the education, services and resources offered throughout the year.

New Mandatory Broker Licensing Class, Real Estate Law Is On The Calendar This Fall! |

Successful professionals are ones who understand and share what they know while seeking to identify and learn what they don’t know. In this broker level course, students will examine the real estate transaction from the point of view of a successful real estate professional. This 30-hour course covers real estate law concepts related to ownership and interests, contract law, the real estate transaction process, and leases. License, fair housing, antitrust, and agency laws will also be discussed, along with licensee liability.
Real Estate Law is intended to provide a road map, or early warning system, of potential legal issues that a practicing real estate professional faces every day.
Real Estate Law satisfies 2 of the core credits required for real estate broker licensing in Pennsylvania. Beginning on November 16th, November 23rd, November 30th, and December 14th, Real Estate Law is held from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm each day.

SRA: Bankrupt Chester City is Getting Nearly $97 Million in State and Private Funding
|

Approaching the fourth anniversary of its rare and historic bankruptcy, the City of Chester is about to get $97.1 million in public and private investments, Gov. Josh Shapiro announced. Shapiro, noting that the resolution of the protracted and often acrimonious bankruptcy “would take far longer than I’d like,” said “the time to invest in Chester is now.” Mayor Stefan Roots said the money would go toward beautifying neighborhoods and dealing with blighted properties in the city of 33,000 residents. “We’re going to be repairing homes. … We’re going to be improving roads and sidewalks,” he said. Among the big-ticket projects: $52.6 million to “revamp and redesign” a section of Route 291/U.S. 13, which separates the riverfront from the city neighborhoods; $7.3 million for new sidewalks connecting Widener University to the rest of the city; and $27.5 million to build new outdoor fields and other sports facilities. Chester is now an “enterprise zone,” a Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development program in which tax breaks and grant money would be made available to investors. Read more here.
