NAM is here for you

This month has been tumultuous in Nashville, especially within the healthcare community.  We find ourselves in an unprecedented time of uncertainty, and we as physicians are on the front lines.  It is now more important than ever that we protect our healthcare workers and our families, assuring that we remain as healthy as possible, both physically and mentally.  We have updated the web site with some COVID-19 resources, in addition to a physician wellness screen.  Please reach out to us at any time.  NAM IS HERE FOR YOU!  ~Robin Williams, MD, 2020 President

“Safer at Home” Order Issued for Nashville
To further combat the spread of COVID-19, the Metro Public Health Department has issued a Safer at Home Order directing all residents of Nashville and Davidson County to stay inside their homes, and immediately limit all movement outside of their homes beyond what is absolutely necessary to take care of essential needs. Our staff is working remotely, and will remain fully operational during this time to serve our physician members, using all technological mediums at our disposal.

Simplified COVID-19 Resources

You may have received dozens, if not hundreds, of emails about COVID-19.  However, we recognize that our members represent a wide range of practice sizes and may have additional questions or would like more simplified resources.  We have created a simple COVID-19 Resource Center to help with questions about coding, patient triage, and other items you may need for your practice. We also have partners in areas of finance, legal, and human resources that can offer specific guidance to you and your practice if needed.
Tennessee Professional Screening Questionnaire
Stress and anxiety affect us all. This voluntary and anonymous questionnaire is designed to help you assess your current state of mental health and well-being. Once completed, a licensed mental health professional will provide you with a personalized response. This website and the services offered are intended for physicians both currently licensed to practice or in training in Tennessee. Participation is completely voluntary and anonymous. Taking this questionnaire cannot and will not result in any licensure board investigation or action.  NAM wanted to offer this to our members during this unsettling time. Project Access Nashville Continues to Serve
Our Project Access program has provided services and case management to uninsured Nashvillians for 15 years. The program continues to serve now, as more of our residents find themselves unemployed.  PANSC will continue to maintain communication with our partner clinics and constituents to offer hope and support to our patients and work to meet urgent needs to the best of our ability.  Patients who are high-risk or express additional concerns will receive additional case management outreach from PANSC care coordinators.
