National concern over state violence against Black bodies is a concern on our own campus. Black students and their allies have called on USF to examine its own practices and to consider a new way of thinking about safety and wellness for our community. The Reimagining Public Safety Series with local and national thought leaders on race and policing will further deepen the reimagining of public safety.
In this webinar, the conversation will focus on race, intersectionality, and policing and have a critical discussion on who is dangerous and, "What about the bad people?"
