Star Educational Media Network's Religious/WLAB (88.3fm, Fort Wayne) moves “The Brant Hansen Show” to mornings and launches “Josh and Friends” from 10am-2pm, hosted by Josh Raines.

Columbia City High School's Alternative/WJHS (91.5fm, Columbia City) debuts new broadcast studios in the new Columbia City High School. WJHS signed on in August 1985.
Adams Radio Group’s Country/WBTU (93.3fm, Kendallville) midday host Erica Gray exits and joins Townsquare’s WITL in Lansing, Michigan for mornings, alongside Cadillac Jack.
At Quincy Media's ABC affiliate/WPTA-TV (Channel 21, Fort Wayne), sports anchor Dean Pantazi celebrates 50 years in journalism and broadcasting; 46 of them at WPTA-TV. Over the summer, he began a new role, covering high school sports. Mr. Pantazi now leads the Friday night high school sports program, “The Score.”
Mr. Pantazi also received the 2020 Gold Circle Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Lower Great Lakes Chapter. They presented this Gold Circle Award as special recognition honoring veteran television professionals who have made a significant contribution to television in Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Erie, Toledo, Youngstown, Bloomington, Fort Wayne, and Indianapolis.” A Chicago native, Mr. Pantazi graduated from Southern Illinois University.
Northcentral
Sinclair's CBS and FOX affiliate/WSBT-TV (Channel 22, South Bend) sports anchor/reporter Adam Derengowski exits. The Indiana University East graduate said on social media that he will move to Indianapolis. Mr. Derengowski joined WSBT in August 2014 as a sports reporter and added anchoring duties in the spring of 2016. He is the son of Richmond broadcaster Troy Derengowski.
Kent Fulmer joins as ‘Morning Edition’ local host for Elkhart Community Schools' WVPE (88.1fm, Elkhart). Mr. Fulmer has worked at or owned (WKAM, 1460am) at least 8 other Michiana radio stations.
Also, WVPE hires Gemma DiCarlo as a reporter. Ms. DiCarlo graduated this year from the University of Georgia, and worked at WUGA-FM.
Northwest
Neuhoff Media’s Country/WKOA (105.3) adds Sean Parr’s Across America, weekdays from 10am until Noon and 1pm until 3pm. Jared handles the Noon hour on Lafayette’s New Country Leader “K-105”.
Central
Sarkes Tarzian's AAA/WTTS (92.3fm, Trafalgar) morning host Paul Mendenhall will retire from the morning shift and will move to part time with “92.3 WTTS.” His final morning show will be Friday January 15, 2021. About 20 years ago, Mr. Mendenhall joined WTTS, after working at several other Indianapolis radio stations: WXLW (950am), WNAP (then on 93.1fm), WIBC (then on 1070am).
Also, Mr. Mendenhall will be inducted into the Indiana Broadcasters Hall of Fame this fall, and he spent his entire broadcasting career in Indianapolis.
Where Are They Now? Former WNDE PD/Mornings Kent Jones joins Stephens Media Group as OM for their Spokane, Washington cluster. Mr. Jones also previously worked in Evansville (WEHT-TV) and Owensboro, Kentucky (WOMI).
Westcentral
Nexstar NBC affiliate WTWO-TV (Channel 2, Terre Haute) and Mission Broadcasting ABC affiliate WAWV (Channel 38, Terre Haute) welcome Savanna Brito and DeSherion McBroom.
Ms. Brito is their weekend morning and noon meteorologist. She last worked as a reporter and producer at WIFR, the CBS affiliate in Rockford, Illinois.
Mr. McBroom is a reporter. He last interned in the sports department at Circle City Broadcasting's CW affiliate/WISH-TV (Channel 8, Indianapolis).
Southcentral
With Westwood One dropping its news product, Diamond Shores Broadcasting’s Hot AC/WUME (95.3fm, Paoli) moves to USA Radio Network news.
Bradley Minnis ("Big Rick Daniels”) becomes morning host at Reising Radio Partners’ Country/WYGB (100.3fm, Edinburgh), succeeding Brandon Adams, who exits.
Southwest
Way Media adds HD on their Contemporary Christian/WJWA (91.5fm, Evansville) and adds an HD2 signal, also heard on FM translator W261CW (100.1fm, Evansville). The HD2 and translator now air Christian Hip Hop (“Way Now: Fresh, Fun, First”) Core artists include Lecrae, NF, Gawvi, Hollyn, Young & Free, and more.
Educational Media Foundation flips the format of their WQXQ (101.9fm, Central City, Kentucky) to Contemporary Christian, with their “K-Love” format. The new call letters are WEKV.
Where Are They Now? Yesterday, former Midwest Communications/Evansville OM Rusty James re-joined Midwest as PD of WIFC in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Proven problem solving and time management skills are required as well as strong oral and written communication skills. This person must be able to learn and work with various software programs. Responsibilities may include on-air shift and voice-tracking as determined by the Operations Manager.
