Dani Jennings, our Summer Youth Intern, officially starts work with us on May 22nd. So, we’re inviting the youth, their parents, and the ENTIRE CONGREGATION to come out for an Ice Cream Social on May 15th at 4:30 pm, to meet Dani and make her feel welcome.The ice cream bar will be set up in the foyer of the Education Building; from there you can go outside to visit. Everyone is encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy an afternoon on the church grounds. Rick Kolar is preparing to entertain us with some tunes. Bruce, Ann, and Matthew will walk around with Dani and help her meet everyone. Thanks to everyone who has offered and signed up to bring toppings. We are so grateful for your support and enthusiasm!

Yarn Ministry Meets Saturday, May 14th
In addition to the granny squares, baby blankets, prayer shawls, scarves and hats we continue to make; we have started a new mission: socks and slippers for those in need.  We are experimenting with some easy patterns.  Have an idea for us?  Want to learn how to knit or crochet?  Feel free to join us on the 14th, from 9:00 am until noon, or however long your schedule will allow.  We meet in Ann Weissenborn's home.  Contact Ann for directions or information.
