Throughout the month of October, we will use our time in worship to remember the beginning calling that led to Parkway Hills, and reflect on how we are carrying on that original vision and mission with our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. Parkway Hills began in 1994 with a dream of offering a fresh expression of God’s love through worship, study, service, and fellowship. Last Sunday we lifted the greatest words of assurance ever written from Romans 8, and this Sunday we focus on Romans 14 and 15 and how we can be a safe space for those who have never experienced church. With only 16 remaining payments left on our mortgage, we commit to living out these original dreams. Be on the lookout for your pledge card for 2022 arriving in the mail this week.
Let us finish strong and stay strong by remembering why we started in the first place!
See you in worship! It is a great time to invite a friend.

Safety Update: A Note from Pastor DawnLast Sunday I allowed those fully vaccinated, once seated, to remove their masks for worship. I failed to consult our Leadership Team before making this switch. So, my safety update is this: Leadership Team will meet Thursday night via Zoom and I will share the most recent information I have as well as guidance I have received from some of our medical professionals at church and we will update the new language about masks in worship after this meeting. We will continue to require masks for those not fully vaccinated and those who work with children under 12 and for everyone as we move about the building.
Thanks for your continued patience!
