Gensler selected as architect for Colfax Corner project

The Colfax Corner project in downtown South Bend is moving forward with a newly selected architecture and design firm for the redevelopment of the South Bend Tribune building and adjacent property.

Holly Kuzmich named managing director of the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities

Kuzmich has been named the next Michael L. Smith Managing Director following a national search. She brings experience across venture philanthropy, national policy, and organizational leadership. Kuzmich begins her role on July 7.

Kyle Doudrick named to EPA Science Advisory Board

Doudrick, associate professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences, has been selected to serve on the Science Advisory Board of the US Environmental Protection Agency. Doudrick specializes in emerging contaminants of concern in drinking water, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)—also called “forever chemicals”—and micro- and nanoplastics.
