Our first Coffee and Connections Hour kicks off on September 9! For this month's CCH, we’ll sample coffee and tea from around the world (just like our community!) and practice making connections through small talk and sharpening our networking skills.
This webinar is designed for doctoral students, PhDs, and postdocs from all academic disciplines who are wondering: How do I know if pursuing a faculty position is the right choice for me? How long should I stay on the academic job market? How do I evaluate whether my goals and values align with a faculty career? What are my options if I decide not to pursue a tenure-track path?
Through engaging, interactive, and reflective activities, this workshop will guide students through setting personalized, concrete goals for first year in graduate school. Lunch will be provided – come hungry for both food and inspiration!
