Dear Parents and Families,
As a reminder, the Matriculation Ceremony that officially welcomes new students to Tufts takes place on Thursday, August 28. You are welcome to attend in-person - please see the schedule below. The ceremony will also be livestreamed to view remotely, and a live transcription is available.

Schedule for Matriculation Day – August 28, 2025 |
- 9 a.m. – Coffee and refreshments (Dowling Hall lobby)
- 10 a.m. – Matriculation (Academic Quad)
- 11:30 a.m. – Jumbo Farewell (Dowling Hall lobby)
|
Following Matriculation, your student’s Orientation Week continues; parents and families who attend in person should plan to depart after the ceremony. Please stop by the Dowling Hall lobby for a Jumbo Farewell treat before you leave campus.
