Welcome to fall term! The leaves are changing, but the sun's still out. It's the perfect setting to kick off a great year. Here’s the scoop.

Events
  • Movie on the Lawn: The weather calls for a cozy movie night outside.
    Saturday, Sept. 27, 9:00–11:00 p.m.

  • Bingo in the EMU: The first of the weekly bingo nights is coming up. The only way to try your hand at winning Duck Bucks is to join!
    Monday, Sept. 29, 6:00–7:30 p.m.

  • UO Football Watch Party: Join the flock in cheering on the Ducks as they face Penn State.

  • Multicultural Center Open House: Discover all the resources the Multicultural Center has to offer and meet with other student organizations.
    Wednesday, Oct. 1, 3:00–6:00 p.m.

  • Wanna Get Savvy at Buying Cars?: This educational clinic will help you understand loan terms, spot predatory practices, and learn negotiation tactics.
    Thursday, Sept. 25, 4:00–5:00 p.m.

Welcome, New Ducks!
  • Begin your green-and-yellow journey with activities to learn what campus has to offer and, of course, activities to just have a good time. Check out the packed schedule of Week of Welcome events.
  • Highlights include the class photo at Autzen Stadium and the New Student Convocation. Don't forget the festivities to introduce you to places on campus: Duck into the Rec, Black Cultural Center Open House, EMU Open House, and Knight @ Night.
Noteworthy
  • Fall Term Duck Corps: Join a service team with other Ducks to make a lasting impact in the Eugene-Springfield community. Sign up by Friday, Oct. 3.
  • More than summer jobs: Learn about the incredible research, internships, and jobs done by Ducks over the summer, spread out across Oregon and the globe.
Health and Wellness
  • Hang out with therapy dogs and unwind amid the hustle and bustle of move-in.

  • Let's Talk provides easy, free access to an informal consultation with a Counseling Services staff member. Use this resource to shake off the stress of a new school year.
