Get Ready to Navigate the Performance Management - Self-Assessment Period | Dec. 1 to Jan. 30 |
Georgia Tech Human Resources (GTHR) continues to transform the performance management process by adding the self-assessment period to Performance Management @Tech system. The live module will streamline this stage of the process for all employees, allowing supervisors and employees to document and track the progress of job responsibilities and goals, starting Friday, Dec. 1.
The self-assessment phase provides a structured framework for employees to communicate with their supervisors, facilitating open and honest conversations about performance, expectations, and career aspirations. It is a moment to recognize and reward high-performing employees, identify areas where additional support or resources may be needed to improve their performance, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement among others.

Georgia Tech’s Leader Competency Model |
At the beginning of this year, Georgia Tech adopted four new leadership competencies, and as a people leader (supervisor) you were asked to set one or two leadership goals. As a leader, you will be evaluated on how you achieved your 2023 Leader Competency Goals in early 2024.
As we prepare to navigate the self-assessment period, we encourage you to review the dimensions and behaviors of each competency and identify progress thus far and areas of improvement.
Visit our Leader Competency Model web page and access explainer videos, a detailed list of LinkedIn Learning self-paced courses, and a personalized learning roadmap to guide you through the model.
