One Day One KU returns Feb. 20-21 for 24 Hours of Giving |
One Day One KU — when Jayhawks from around the world come together to support the University of Kansas — is just 10 days away! Here are four things you should know about this year’s giving day:
|
-
Mark your calendar for two days. One Day One KU will run from noon to noon Thursday, Feb. 20 to Friday, Feb. 21.
-
Align your donation with your passion. View the nearly 50 units and student organizations highlighted on the One Day One KU homepage or take this six-question quiz to help you decide where to show your support.
-
One of the best ways to support One Day One KU is to sign-up to become an ambassador. Ambassadors play a critical role in the success of giving day. Share your unique ambassador URL with fellow alumni, friends and family, via email and on social media, and encourage them to make a gift. Toolkits are on the Get Involved page to create your own social media posts, emails and texts.
- Be on the lookout for ways to help your donation go further. Throughout the 24 hours, Power Hour Challenges will provide units and student organizations the opportunity to win bonus dollars.

| Review IRISE Values Before HLC Visit |
Faculty, staff and students will be asked to discuss KU’s institutional values during the HLC site visit from March 3-5. IRISE — Integrity, Respect, Innovation, Stewardship and Excellence —represents our shared commitment to being an exceptional learning community that lifts each member and advances society.
University Governance leaders worked with KU administrators to develop the IRISE Culture Charter, which articulates the values and agreements of the KU community and how its members engage with one another. All are encouraged to review the IRISE Culture Charter and consider how we demonstrate the values in our daily activities.
