Monthly Results Update

Dear Community Voice member,
Last week marked an exciting time for the CF community as the U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the use of the triple-combination modulator elexacaftor/tezacaftor/ivacaftor (Trikafta™) for people with cystic fibrosis 12 years and older who have at least one copy of the F508del mutation. Your participation, dedication, and tireless efforts helped make this possible. With the approval of Trikafta, more than 90 percent of people with CF could eventually have a highly effective therapy for the underlying cause of their disease. We look forward to continuing our partnership with you and the rest of the CF community until CF stands for “Cure Found” for every person with CF, regardless of their mutation or stage of disease progression. Congratulations again on last week’s incredible milestone!
