As I reflect on the journey of Hope Services, my heart is filled with gratitude. What began from a deeply personal place — inspired by our daughter, Danica, and her lived experience — has grown into a community of hope, opportunity, and transformation. Every milestone we celebrate represents lives being changed, confidence being built, and doors being opened for individuals who are struggling and in need of support. I am continually humbled by the dedication of our staff, volunteers, partners, and friends who believe in this mission as strongly as I do. Together, we are not just planning events or setting goals — we are building a future together — one filled with purpose, possibility, and hope.

Leadership of Hope Services recently presented its new five-year strategic plan during a special luncheon at Main Event.

Board of Directors President Joe Bray and Founder & CEO Cindy Bray shared key milestones, strategic priorities, and future goals that will guide the organization’s continued growth and expanding impact.

Dave Caldas also offered a heartfelt word of encouragement, affirming the importance of the mission and the powerful difference Hope Services continues to make in the lives of those it serves.

Following the meeting, attendees enjoyed four hours of food, fun, and entertainment generously provided by Main Event, celebrating both past accomplishments and the exciting path forward.

A heartfelt thank you to Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health and artist Shelby Swygert for transforming our Hope-Mart Retail training space.

With paint generously donated by Sherwin-Williams, the mural now creates a vibrant and welcoming environment where participants build skills and confidence before entering the workforce.

Each brushstroke represents partnership, opportunity, and the belief that every individual deserves a place to learn, grow, and shine.

It’s hard to believe it’s already March, and that means Spring is right around the corner! With the new season comes new opportunities, and our Spring Career Camps are officially scheduled.

This year, we’re offering two exciting options: Intro to Culinary and Intro to Retail. Each camp includes 20 hours of hands‑on learning designed to help participants build real-world skills, explore career pathways, and gain confidence in a supportive environment.

Choose the camp that fits your interests and connect with your Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor to request a referral.

Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged. Spring is the perfect time to try something new. Don’t miss your chance!
