The Little Red Feather Racing Club is poised for a fantastic fall racing season. This Sunday, October 12 at Santa Anita, LRF will debut it's first two-year-old of the year, Midnight Miley. Trainer Mike Puype and LRF has high hopes for the daughter of Midnight Lute. Later this month, LRF will debut another fast-working two-year-old filly, High Profit. Purchased at the OBS April sale, High Profit is trained by Phil D'Amato and, like Miley, debuts with "high" expectations. LRF's 2014 California Claiming Fund will also be represented in October as all four horses - Jomelo, Fighter Squadron, Intoxicating Move and Yodel Up A Storm, will all be in action. Jomelo comes off a tough luck second place effort at Santa Anita last month. Both Barry Abrams' charges, Heat Flash and Unusual Taste, may also see action before the end of October and Sudden Rumor (pictured) will return after a heartbreaking loss by a nose in September.
