Later, when he stepped into pastoral ministry, he discovered a challenge he could not solve on his own:
His congregation had no Bibles.
Yet God provided.
Through Scripture resources and the Africa Study Bible, the Lord equipped Djuma with what he needed to disciple his church with depth, clarity, and cultural wisdom.
In his words:
“We were hungry for the Word. Now we are full. Whenever I bring the Scripture, I know the background. I narrate the context, and it fits our culture. It is easy for them to understand.”
This is God’s work.
God calling a pastor.
God opening doors.
God supplying His Word.
God transforming a congregation hungry for truth.
“Our thanksgiving rises to God…”
Paul writes,
“Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God.”
— 2 Corinthians 9:11 (NLT)
This Thanksgiving, we celebrate what God is doing — in Eastern DRC and throughout Africa:
God is raising leaders.
God is strengthening churches.
God is placing His Word in the hands of those who long for it.
God is multiplying thanksgiving.
And we thank Him for you — for your prayers, your compassion, and your heart for His mission.
