SCHULICH ALUMNI NEWSLETTER
June 2024
| |
Dear Schulich Alumni,
Greetings from all of us at Schulich! As we wrap up another successful academic year, I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you, including my dedicated team, for their tireless efforts in making numerous and innovative initiatives happen for our alumni community. These past few months have been extraordinary, filled with opportunities to connect. Your passion and dedication continue to inspire us, and we’re deeply grateful for your support!
In May, we reunited in person for CONNECT ’24, the Alumni Forum – and what a day it was! Seeing over 250 alumni come together was incredible. The event was a whirlwind of inspiring speakers, dynamic networking, and engagement. This is a pivotal time for Schulich, marked by vibrant alumni engagement and exciting growth initiatives, such as the recent launch of the OMERS & Oxford Leadership Institute in Real Assets. To hear more about Schulich’s achievements over the past year, please click here to view our Dean’s Summer Message or find the link below in this newsletter.
Looking ahead, we are thrilled to celebrate the graduation of our latest cohort on June 21, 2024, welcoming over 900 new graduates to the Schulich Global Alumni Network of more than 36,000 alumni. Congratulations to all our soon-to-be alumni! As we continue to strengthen our community, I encourage you to explore programs like the Alumni2Alumni Connections program, accessible through our online portal Schulich Alumni Hub. Additionally, we launched the GTA Alumni Ambassador program this year, featuring five dedicated Schulich alumni who strengthen connections through monthly networking gatherings. It's a fantastic way to engage with our community. Our next alumni dinner is taking place on Wednesday, June 26. We look forward to seeing you there!
Be sure to check out our events page for upcoming gatherings near you and stay tuned for announcements on how you can further strengthen connections with your alumni network. On that note, a big shout out to our Global Alumni Network Chapter Ambassadors for organizing fantastic alumni events recently in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Miami, Atlanta, London, and here in Toronto. The Schulich Global Alumni community is vibrant and engaged, and we’re thrilled to have you as part of it!
We’re always eager to hear from you and value your feedback. Let us know how we can make our events even better by writing to us at alumni@schulich.yorku.ca.
On behalf of our entire team, we look forward to connecting with you soon! Wishing you an enjoyable summer ahead.
Warm regards,
Christina Niederwanger, CFRE
