What do you call a kingdom ruled over by three regents?Â
The Vikings aren't exactly kings in the NFC but the team's 30-12 drubbing of the Chicago Bears placed them alongside the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles as having the best record in the conference.
It wasn't always pretty â Justin Jefferson slipped on a touchdown that could have put the team up 17-0 before the half â but like Vin Diesel says in "The Fast and the Furious": "It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning's winning."
And the fans didn't seem to mind. In fact, a group of children had us chanting "Go Vikings" and clapping up in the rafters during the third quarter.Â
The Vikings will travel to Seattle on Sunday to face off against the Seahawks. Read up on last night's game at the links below.Â
There's no guarantee we'll have a full inch of snow or more on the ground come Dec. 25 in the Twin Cities, which would officially make it a White Christmas.
But there's an outside chance.
The National Weather Service forecasts a dusting tonight and up to 5 inches on Thursday in the metro. Beyond that? We just have to pray it doesn't heat up enough to thaw out.
Never underestimate a child's appetite for seasoned meat stuffed inside a doughy polygon.
That's the philosophy at the core of Mariam Mohamed's Hoyo, a company that makes frozen sambusas that has taken school cafeterias by storm. Laura Yuen's latest column takes us behind the operation that serves up tasty triangular pocket snacks.
"We all know that food is a universal gateway to other cultures, that it can close thousands of miles in a single, steaming bite," Yuen writes. "It can foster curiosity about faraway lands and eventually beckon you to a street food stall halfway around the globe."

I've been thinking a lot about the Mall of America lately, from fellow reporter Greta Kaul's wonderful explainer on how Camp Snoopy morphed into Nickelodeon Universe to the memories my phone pulls up from the various excursions I've taken friends on to Margaritaville and the Sea Life aquarium.
But this Bluesky post from Kep Rinvelo made me think: Have I ever bought anything at the largest shopping mall in North America?
The answer may surprise you. Actually, it won't because it's the same as Rinvelo's. Last summer, I came dangerously close to buying a custom minifig at the Lego store, but that's about it.
