 Madison in The News

The secret is getting out.  The northeast corridor is beginning a renaissance that will be underway for the next decade.  Our job is to remain diligent, working hard to ensure that commercial development and residential development is bolstered by great infrastructure while protecting the neighborhoods form gentrification and encroachment. Development is good news when it happens for us and not to us.  I want to give a huge shot our to fellow Councilmembers Bill Pridemore of District 9 and Anthony Davis of District 7 for our combined efforts on Gallatin Pike.

Community Meeting on Cornerstone Church Rezoning to change a Specific Plan on back area  behind church  from Retirement Center to "Public Use Athletic Feilds" -  Meeting January 4, 2018, 5:30 pm at Madison Station Fifty Forward
Soon to Be Scheduled - watch the NVR4D8 social network accounts and email for information on a meeting with Metro Public Works and NES on the new street light locations in the recent USD areas. I want to get you a map to see if they missed a spot that is important to include.
"Development for us, not to us" continues to be the mantra as weekly meetings with developers take place.
