Achieve a Just Energy Transition: Creating Jobs, Building Wealth, and Reducing Energy Burden

Communities of color receive more than their share of "environmental bads" including pollution and asthma, and less than their fair share of "environmental goods" like clean tech jobs and renewable energy. On Thursday, October 20, at 12 noon–1 p.m, in the Curtis Hall Multipurpose Room, join us for a lecture by Browning the Green Space co-founder and Executive Director Kerry Bowie to learn about how the organization is powering a just energy transition for Black and Brown communities. Free pizza will be served!

Submit an Event

Students and Student Organizations can submit events to JumboLife by Thursdays at 12 noon and we'll include them in the Jumbo Digest!
