Dear Friends,
Everyone at the museum looks forward to seeing you in 2023. We have organized a glorious year of exhibitions and public programs, including a major exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip hop, which opens on February 8th.
But first, please join me in welcoming the museum’s newest staff members: Zainab Floyd, assistant curator of education, Reina Hernandez, media and education assistant manager, and Zoe Taylor, education and collections assistant. Do you see a theme? We are doubling down on our commitment to education in the widest sense – from support for FIT’s students and faculty to lifelong learning for all our audience members.
Best wishes for a happy and healthy new year!
Valerie Steele
