It’s summer at the Hall! Here are some important tips and reminders.

HRL Housing & Residence Life: Don't forget to secure on-campus housing for the Fall. Reach out to shuhousing@shu.edu as soon as possible for more information.
Campus ID Office: Please keep your ID card in a safe place during the summer. Replacement ID cards cost $35.
Parking Services: Watch your email for an announcement about the start of fall permit sales.
Take time for self-care. Check out CAPS Self-Help resources and the CAPS Virtual Wellness Room.
Get Involved in Dare to Care, a university-wide collaborative suicide prevention initiative designed to foster shared responsibility for building a community of care.
Know More is an initiative of the Dean of Students Office whose mission is to provide important education around sexual violence prevention, alcohol & other drugs, and bystander intervention to the Seton Hall University community through creative outreach programs and campaigns.

Accept your Direct Loans if you plan to use them using these directions. Go to PirateNet, then the Profile & Finances tab.
Complete Entrance Counseling and MPN, if you have Accepted your loan www.studentaid.gov.
Are you looking for an option to pay your fall balance? Visit www.elmselect.com (private loans) or www.studentaid.gov (parent plus loans)

Community Summer Fun

South Orange Summer Nights happen in July when music takes center stage, complete with free concerts, food trucks, arts activities, and games for the kids. Concerts in the Park are held Wednesday evenings starting at 7:30 p.m. at Floods Hill in Meadowland Park.

Essex County Parks Summer Music continues its annual tradition of concerts in the various county parks.

Maplewoodstock The biggest music festival in Maplewood happens this weekend on Saturday, July 8 and Sunday July 9 Noon-10 p.m. in Memorial Park. Free admission, food and vendors. Bring your friends and enjoy two days of live music and fun. Here’s the complete music lineup and map.

The Maplewood Division of Arts & Culture holds summer concerts on Friday Nights at the Gazebo on 1688 Springfield Ave in Maplewood, NJ

Maplewood Summer Streets festival begins July 14 in Maplewood Village. Bring your lawn chairs and friends, grab some takeout, and enjoy entertainment on Maplewood Ave with The Accelerators. Here is the full schedule.

Clifton has free concerts this summer beginning July 9 for free at Main Memorial Park on 1395 Main Avenue. See the full schedule here.

NJPAC in Newark hosts a free outdoor concert series every week on Thursdays at 6 p.m. in Chambers Plaza.

Union County holds free Summer Concerts in the Parks with free music and fun for the whole family. The series will take place in Echo Lake Park in Mountainside each Wednesday throughout the summer beginning on July 12.
