At 70,000 ft. above sea level during tactical communication, you need increased connectivity and the fastest data exchange possible. How to achieve this? Wideband millimeter-wave high-power amplifiers (HPAs) specifically designed and tested for harsh environments and high altitudes. This month we’ll be at AOC in Washington, D.C. (Booth 500) to showcase our suite of mmWave HPAs and discuss the industry’s transition to this segment of the electromagnetic spectrum.
In Booth 500 we’ll also have Ka-band TWT Amplifiers (TWTAs) and high-power microwave power modules (MPMs) on display. Here's dB Control’s full AOC product lineup.
Last month, we acquired TTT-Cubed, Inc. – which means we’ve expanded our line of reliable products for defense and aerospace applications. Now you can get the following units direct from dB Control:
  • IFM – Instantaneous Frequency Measurement
  • FLO – Frequency Locked Oscillator
  • DCU – Digital Control Unit
  • ACU – Antenna Control Unit
  • IDCU – Integrated DCU
Did you know that for the first time, the US Air force (USAF) will appoint an electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) expert to its Air Staff? The USAF is also restructuring its entire EW enterprise to cultivate what they call the “EMS warrior ethos.”
Now that the USAF is crystallizing its EW tactics, design engineers and manufacturers have even more room for innovation. One technical contribution to this new-found EMS warrior ethos? These rack-mount CW TWTAs made especially for EW applications:
By eliminating the need for external controllers and cables, the dB-4311m and dB-4345 TWTAs are simple-to-use solutions for EW simulation, RFI susceptibility testing, RF components testing and more. Thanks to Ethernet interface and embedded microcontrollers, fault diagnostics and status history are stored within the amplifier’s memory for easy maintenance in the field.
