Join the Cultural Centers in collaboration with the Global Feminist Forum (GFF) on Wednesday, March 5 from 3:30–4:30 p.m. in McLaren 252 for this month’s Lyricist Lounge; a vibrant open-mic celebrating spoken word, music, and self-expression. The Global Feminist Forum (GFF) joins the celebrations and legacies of resistance centered on International Women’s Day.

Join University Ministry for another series of the Healing Collective to de-stress by dancing in community. Led through a decolonial lens by PASJ Professor Amber Julian, students will focus on healing and spiritual exploration through dance.

Join the Thacher Gallery and Global Feminist Forum in celebrating the opening of Sonia Romero: Taken Root with artist Sonia Romero and curator Karen Rapp. Taken Root reveals Romero’s visual language that expands the possibilities of printmaking, painting, and paper cutting.

Karen Rapp, director/curator at Loyola Marymount University’s Laband Gallery, will talk about how she conceived of the exhibition as well as her process and experiences curating Sonia Romero: Taken Root, on display in Thacher Gallery. Refreshments provided.
