N/NE Neighborhood Housing Strategy: One Year Later
First Oversight Committee Report to City Council

One year ago, the Portland Housing Bureau (PHB) went before City Council to unveil a plan to begin to address the issue of displacement in North and Northeast Portland through policies, programs, and a $20 million investment in affordable housing.
To ensure the highest level of accountability to the community, an Oversight Committee of community members was formed to oversee this work over the next five years, and report to City Council annually on the success of PHB and its contractors in accomplishing the goals established in the plan.

On Wednesday, February 3, the N/NE Oversight Committee will give its first report to City Council on the progress made toward the goals we set forth a year ago. It will be an opportunity for us to look back on what we’ve accomplished so far—and where we still have more work to do.
This Council meeting will be open to the public. You are invited to observe or share testimony.
