Happy Short-But-Crazy week to everyone!  Even with students not reporting for school on Friday, Oct 31 (don't forget that it's parent-teacher-conference day that day!) we've still managed to cram-pack lots of fun into this 4 day week!  Don't forget to load up those Literati giftcards or send your kiddos with cash on their designated book fair shopping day (or shop yourself Friday morning!).  Also, if you've signed up to volunteer at the ice cream parties on Thursday, we are so grateful!  Keep reading for some other fun community events and give-back options!
BOOK FAIR TIME IS HERE!
It's the MOST WONDERFUL time of year -- Book Fair time! Our Literati Book Fair is in full swing and it's been fun watching kiddos get to shop for new books (& learning how to budget that money a bit in the process). If your child's time to shop has already passed and they are wanting something else (or you want to put things away for Christmas) you're in luck! Parents are welcome to shop Friday morning, October 31. 
Our goal every year is for EVERY student to shop (click the link for more info on how you can donate to other kiddos). Plus, our library benefits from a portion of the sales!  Below we've listed some quick links of important info and the green button leads to the website with ALLLL the details (including the schedule of when each class will be shopping during school hours.)

BULLDOG BOLT ICE CREAM PARTIES

Just when you thought the Bolt was over...

We are SO excited to announce that our students achieved the goal of getting at least one donation from every state in the US and earned themselves a school-wide ice cream party!  That was no small feat!  We still need a few more volunteers to scoop ice cream TOMORROW...so sign up and come help out! Party times vary by grade so check the sign-up link below for all the details!

Don't forget - students DO NOT report to school this Friday, October 31.  Please check with your teacher on parent/teacher conference details or signups and don't forget to swing by the book fair and shop while you're there!

LADYBIRD TACO FALL FAMILY FUN
Join our friends at Ladybird Taco 12 South on October 30th from 3–4 PM for pumpkin painting, an E + Rose juice popup, family Polaroids, and of course—tacos, queso, and coffee! 🍂
We’ll have a wellness juice bar from E+ROSE to keep things fresh and festive. Bring the whole fam for some fall fun!

PADDYWAX NIGHT

Pour a candle, make memories and give back all in one night! We are excited to offer this unique give-back night from Paddywax Candle Bar in Berry Hill.  Click the LINK HERE to book your workshop anytime on November 7th.  Mention "Waverly Belmont" during checkout to ensure that 20% of all proceeds come back to the WB PTO!  Click through to read all details including age restrictions.  This could be a great parent/child adventure OR a great date night or moms night out, so grab your group and come check it out.

TITANS VS. TEXANS WB GIVEBACK

Football season is here!  The Titans have an incredible School Ticket Program so WB Families can get specially priced tickets AND earn money for the PTO at the same time!  The first game opportunity is coming up on Sunday, November 16th at 12pm CT when the Titans take on the Texans.  Click the link below and enter WBS2025 when asked for an access code.  Not only will you get special pricing, but  $10 from each ticket sold will benefit Waverly Belmont Elementary School!
