Here's your news for October from on and off campus. It's a productive time of year — and not just at the Carleton Farm (located near the water tower) with its recent crop of free fresh vegetables. The German program has earned national recognition, and Carleton's TRIO / Student Support Services program has received another five years of federal grant support. Thanks to the leadership of quarterback Jack Curtis ’26, the football team has brought the Goat Trophy back from St. Olaf, and women's and men's tennis are both off to strong starts. And if by chance you've heard of Saturday Night Live, Claire McFadden ’13 is one of their new writers! If you've been producing produce or have new records to record, do get in touch — and keep reading to digest the digest of news from campus and beyond.
