Kristi Forman, EdD, was promoted to the role of Interim Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management on April first. The Office of Enrollment Management is comprised of the Office of Admissions, the Office of Financial Aid, and the Office of the Registrar. The Office of Enrollment Management provides enrollment services to students, faculty, and staff, guidance for best practices in compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and regulations, and collaborates with Information Technology Services to update and maintain the student records and information systems. In her new role, Dr. Forman will continue to also serve as Director of Admissions Operations.
During her 17 years of experience in enrollment management, Dr. Forman has dedicated herself to fostering positive relationships and creating efficiencies in the enrollment process, leading to a better student experience. Before joining Enrollment Management, she was the director of Faculty Affairs in AFSA. Prior to joining the UT Health Science Center, Dr. Forman was the director of admissions at Christian Brothers University, having previously held enrollment management positions at Strayer University and Belmont University. Dr. Forman earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Christian Brothers University and a master’s degree in education from Strayer University. She earned her doctorate in business administration from Wilmington University.
Amy Hall, EdD, began her role as the new Associate Director of Faculty Affairs on April first. As the Associate Director of Faculty Affairs, she will oversee faculty-related processes including promotion and tenure, faculty appointments, and annual reviews across all UT Health Science Center’s colleges. A major responsibility of her position is providing faculty and staff development regarding these processes. Dr. Hall originally joined UT Health Science Center in June of 2006, following her career teaching 5th grade math and 8th grade US History at Snowden School in Memphis.
“My initial position at UTHSC focused on helping Program Directors in Graduate Medical Education (GME) write learning goals and objectives allowing me to leverage my teaching experience to help improve resident and fellow education.”
During the next 13 years in GME, Dr. Hall would expand her work with residency and fellowship program directors to include accreditation, curriculum design, and assessment. After receiving an EdD in instructional design and technology, she shifted to the Teaching and Learning Center (2019) to focus on faculty development and instructional design, allowing her to extend her reach by supporting more UTHSC faculty. After five and a half years in the TLC, she decided to tackle a new adventure as the Associate Director of Faculty Affairs.

Eliane Pater has been appointed as the Director of Student Life Operations and Finance in the Office of Student Success at the UT Health Science Center. In this role, she will oversee the operational and financial aspects of student life, ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of all activities, programs, and services.
Since joining the UT Health Science Center and AFSA in 2019 as an Education Specialist, she has been instrumental in developing and implementing various processes and programs that have significantly contributed to student success, making her made her an invaluable part of the Office of Student Success. Eliane has taken on additional responsibilities, including key roles in commencement, student appreciation events, and as a student government advisor. Her dedication and expertise led to her promotion to Business Manager for the Office of Student Success, where she further enhanced her comprehensive understanding of student life and finance. Eliane's appointment as Director of Student Life Operations and Finance is a natural progression, reflecting her outstanding contributions and leadership.
Ashley Thomas began her new role as the Assistant Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards on April first. In her new role she will serve as the Student Conduct Officer and Deputy Title IX Officer for Students. Previously, she served as the Compliance Specialist in the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards where she assisted and oversaw student health insurance and immunization. She will continue to oversee her previous duties, in addition to her new ones. Ashley started at UT Health Science Center in 2022, working as the Admissions Coordinator for the Physician Assistance program, and has been working in the Office of Student Conduct since 2023.
