Dear Sojourn Fans,
During the long pandemic year, we trust that literature has been your constant companion, providing stories to sustain your hearts and minds. While we share an eagerness to gather again with authors and fellow readers, the coronavirus tale continues to unfold and social distancing remains an unforgiving necessity.
We have made the tough decision that a fall 2021 gathering is logistically impossible for Literary Sojourn.
While we share your disappointment, we assure you that we are already eagerly planning our next Literary Sojourn for a fall day just like we all know and love. We are scheduled to reconvene Literary Sojourn on September 10, 2022!
And we have a very exciting announcement to tide you over! Introducing....Winter Sojourn!
On January 22, 2022, join us for Winter Sojourn, a special edition of Literary Sojourn. The afternoon will be filled with the rollicking storytelling of four rock-star authors: Maaza Mengiste, Mary Roach, Vendela Vida and Master of Ceremonies Jess Walter.
The shared magic of Sojourn resides in an intimate, personal exchange between authors and fellow book lovers, and that's exactly the spirit we're kindling in the Strings Pavilion for our Winter Sojourn in January.
We are grateful for your enthusiasm and eternal support, and we hope you are as tickled by our special edition winter 2022 gathering as we are.
See you at the Sojourns ... both of them!
