The Division of Biological Sciences is hosting its annual research poster session on June 5th. Biology undergraduates and Masters students are invited to present a poster based on research they are conducting while at UC San Diego. Students will present their research to faculty and research judges, along with the general UCSD public. Top posters receive awards at the conclusion of the event. It is a great opportunity to make connections with faculty, practice communicating science to the public, and network with fellow students. Register as an individual or as a pair. Earth Day Mini-Fair

Come out and celebrate the 49th Earth Day with BSSA at Sun God Lawn on April 22nd, 2019! The rapid reduction of plant and wildlife populations are directly linked to causes driven by human activity so come and find out how you can make an impact! Play fun games in our mini-fair with a chance of bringing home a succulent, all while learning about this year’s theme: Protect Our Species.

Wildlands Studies: 2019 Summer Field Programs


We offer students an immersive and personal experience with important environmental and cultural issues facing our wildlands and the cultures they support. Our small student teams travel to the heart of where today’s environmental challenges occur, and together we seek solutions for the critical concerns facing our world’s wildlands. Students have an unparalleled opportunity to work side by side with our faculty and active researchers, helping to find answers to important environmental problems.
