University of Michigan-Dearborn's Chem Club and Biochem Club partnered for the second annual Halloween Demo Show last week. Here, Michael Berry and Ashley Cade set off chemical reactions within jack-o'-lanterns.
Matthew Beaudry has been named UM-Dearborn's director of athletics. Beaudry will look to collaborate with partners across campus to surround student-athletes with the resources they need to be successful both on and off the playing field.

Registration is live for the 22nd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, which will be on Monday, January 19, 2015. The university has secured nearly 20 locations for campus members to volunteer throughout the metropolitan community.
