Fall usually means Laker football and Homecoming fun. Without these on-campus activities, along with other changes necessary because of COVID-19,
a favorite season looks different than during any of my 18 years at Grand Valley.

Yet, even during these unfamiliar times, there are still things to celebrate. GVSU students have been planning a virtual Spirit Week to help each other stay connected while staying safe, and the university kicks off it's 60th anniversary celebration later this month.
