The DRC and your LDA chairs are working hard to update our programming experience. The new strategy will connect LD Alumni to one another and the community, drive inclusive leadership in the Dallas Region, and accelerate community impact in the DRC's 2021-23 strategic plan: economic development; education and workforce; public policy; diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI); and quality of life for all people. We are delaying the annual LDA dues process while we work through finalizing this exciting new plan. If you have ideas you would like to submit for consideration, please email us.
CLASS NOTES
For its class project, the LD Class of 2021 is proud to partner with Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support for the opening of Genesis Outreach on Lancaster, a new counseling office and benefit thrift store in Southern Dallas. Since 1985, Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support 501(c)3 has provided safety, shelter, and support to thousands of women and children experiencing domestic violence.

Black History Month is an annual celebration each February of achievements by Black Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of Black Americans in U.S. history. The DRC put together some resources to help you better understand Black history and celebrate the achievements.
