| NJ SDOH Hackathon 2023
Cooper University Health Care is exploring innovative ways to leverage health information technology to better engage at-risk populations and improve access and health outcomes at both the local and state levels. Cooper will host a Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) Hackathon in the fall of 2023.

LeadHERship Conference 2023
The 2023 LeadHERship Conference will begin on Friday, November 10, with a featured keynote speaker followed by a community reception. On Saturday, November 11, registrants will be invited to choose from a variety of educational workshops throughout the day, including a luncheon, closing keynote speaker, and networking reception.

Free Yoga Classes!

As part of the NJ Office of the Secretary of Higher Education’s Mental Health in Higher Education grant, we will be providing our students with free yoga classes throughout the year! These classes will be offered by Asana Soul Practice in their Hoboken and Jersey City Locations. Email CAPS@stevens.edu with any questions.

Out in STEM (oSTEM) is excited to return to campus this semester to share new events and opportunities with the Stevens community. oSTEM is a global organization centering and supporting the professional development of LGBTQ+ students. oSTEM is open to all, and joining oSTEM allows you to connect with professionals from across the globe, and locally, allowing for enormous networking potential. oSTEM supports students with retreat and conference opportunities, scholarships, and fun activities such as our annual Gender Affirming Clothing Swap, and Tie-Dye Night! | Introduction to BME Concentrations and New Curriculum |
This session will introduce the BME concentrations and the Workday instructions for changing to the new curriculum. This session is for all BME undergraduate students who started in Fall 2021 or later.

| BME Seminar- Medical Device Classification and Requirements for Approval in the U.S. and EU. |
Speaker: Mason Diamond, DDS, Director of Medical Device and eHealth, Bayer US
This is the second seminar in a four-part series. The seminar series will focus on providing real-world insights relating to regulatory strategies and the development decision making process for medical devices and device-drug/device-biologic combination products. This will cover operational, strategic, and commercial aspects of the regulatory approval process in the US and EU. Overviews of drug and biologic (such as cell and gene therapies) development will also be provided.
