Dear Pilot parents and families,
| |
With Thanksgiving approaching, I’d like to express my gratitude for our UP families. As your student has navigated the virtual learning environment and the many challenges of 2020, you have been on this journey with them, whether physically or virtually. I can only imagine how hard it is to watch your student struggle at times and face so much uncertainty in the world, all the while feeling like there isn’t much you can do to help. As we head into the holiday season, I would encourage all of you to find patience and grace both for your student and for yourself. Please remember how integral you are to their support system – grounding them no matter what comes their way.
Blessings to your family, and Happy Thanksgiving!

Sincerely,

Last year a new candle Grotto was installed in the small garden dedicated to Mary, the Mother of God, next to the Chapel of Christ the Teacher. UP community members are invited to submit a prayer request online, and a member of the Congregation of Holy Cross will visit the Grotto to pray for your intentions over the purple candle which is always kept burning for the prayers of Pilot community.
