Tickets went on sales last Thurs - we've sold 400.
For comparison sake, we sold 620 for Wine & Food Affair in the first 5 days.
16 wineries have nothing listed in the program...no one is going to start with you, if they don't know what you are offering.
Others have simply said..."taste great wine". That should go without saying.
This is an event.
Offer a wine special - reduced pricing on a 6-pack or, signed bottles or something. Give attendees a reason to come to your winery. Create a spotlight again, a specific time for something to happen, we can add that to your program details, "stop by at 1:00pm to meet our winemaker", or "at noon & 2:00 we will offer a cellar tour (limited to 12 people)" - something along those lines.
We have 20 more wineries participating in this event than Wine & Food Affair. We will most likely sell the same number of tickets, so everyone will get a smaller slice of that pie.
Offer something compelling....
Then start sharing details about the event - ticket sales drop dramatically from Thanksgiving until New Years, so we need to get the word out immediately.
