| Hello Patriots, and Welcome!
Student Involvement is so excited to have you all back at Mason and we are ready for you to get involved in campus life once again!
There are loads of ways to engage and become part of the Mason community. Try one of our 400 Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), join a Fraternity or a Sorority, run for a Student Government position or volunteer on a committee, check out GMU ESports, attend a Patriot Activities Council (PAC) event, or help out SI with the Mason Spirit Squad. Any way you choose, you will find your home at Mason by getting involved.
We’ll be sending out a monthly newsletter with all the updates and information you’ll need to stay involved! You can also stay up to date by following us on social media. In Student Involvement, we want to create memorable experiences for ALL of Mason.

Panhellenic recruitment, also known as sorority recruitment, is a process by which women who are interested in joining a sorority can learn about and join a sorority organization.
During the recruitment process, potential new members attend events and meet with members of each sorority over a period of three days. These events are designed to allow potential new members to learn about each sorority's values, philanthropic efforts, social events, and sisterhood. After attending these events, potential new members will select which sororities they are interested in joining, and sororities will then extend invitations for membership to the women they wish to join their organization.

The Patriot Activities Council and the Center for Culture, Equity, and Empowerment bring you, Mason in Color: One World. An event for students to come and celebrate the diversity of the Mason community. There will be performances, tabling, food, and giveaways. Join us and our MC, Ed Mabrey, for a night of fun.

Each year Student Government reserves 10 of the 40 Student Senate seats for the fall election to allow freshman and transfer students new to George Mason University an opportunity to run and be involved with the organization.
Voting starts on Sept 25th and runs through Sept. 29th. EVERYONE is allowed to vote! If elected, these students represent the voice for the entire student body, so it's important for all Mason Patriots to have a say!
