You’re receiving this email because your strong academic background and your interests suggest that you might be a good candidate for the Goldwater Scholarship, a highly prestigious national scholarship for undergraduates in the STEM fields. Not only is the money nice, but an award like this radically increases your chances of getting into competitive graduate programs and receiving future funding.
Students who plan to study medicine are eligible if they plan a research career rather than a career as a medical doctor in a private practice. Students applying should be U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a strong commitment to research. The Goldwater offers up to $7,500 annually toward your undergraduate tuition.
