Dear parents and families,
I hope you are enjoying all that the summer brings. In just a couple of months, WashU will become your student’s home away from home! We know this transition can be challenging for families too. Don’t worry. Our mission in Student Affairs is to give your student the resources they need to thrive!
We offer many ways that you can continue to feel connected, even as your student navigates this new chapter of life. We have an Incoming Families Guide that not only includes important dates and move-in information, but also gives you a glimpse into what your student’s life will be like at WashU. We also have an orientation especially for parents and families during move-in weekend and a Family Webinar series this summer to answer your questions.
We are ready! I can’t wait to meet your student in just a couple of months!
Warmly,
Anna “Dr. G” Gonzalez
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
