SMFA Shuttle Schedule Update and Green Line Service Suspension

Dear Student,

We want to share several transportation updates with you.

SMFA Shuttle

We’ve heard your feedback during the first few days of the semester and want to ensure the Tufts shuttle is providing the best service for the Tufts Community. We will be adjusting the SMFA shuttle schedule departing the Medford Campus.

The current schedule has the first two shuttles departing 8 a.m. and 8:15 a.m.
Starting Monday September 11, 2023, the first two SMFA shuttles will depart at 8 a.m.

This change will create more space for students heading to SMFA for the first classes of the day and reduce the number of students needing to stand for the ride. Please plan accordingly and ensure you are at the shuttle stop prior to 8 a.m., the next shuttle will not depart Medford until 8:45 a.m.

MBTA Green Line

The MBTA will be suspending Green Line service between North Station and Government Center September 18 – October 12. If you are taking the Green Line from the Tufts/Medford station during this time you will need to walk from North Station to Government Center to continue travel to the MFA stop.

Please plan accordingly and/or utilize the Tufts SMFA Shuttle.
