Run for HOPE... and your Life! |
The third and last edition of the Hope Services Run for HOPE... and your Life! Zombie 5K and 1K Fun Run was a total success. The race took place at the beautiful Crews Wilderness Lake Park in Pasco County and counted with the participation of about 150 runners, zombies of all ages and the fantastic Star Wars crew, amongst many other fantastic characters that made the race unforgettable. Prizes and medals for everyone, vendors and and overall exciting atmosphere of sportsmanship camaraderie. Great fun for everyone!
Unfortunately after careful consideration, the Direction has decided that the event no longer aligns fully with Hope Services’ mission and therefore this is the final Zombie 5k.
Thank you to every single runner, volunteer, sponsor and staff member that intervene in the process. Each one played an incredible role in making this event something really special. We are sincerely grateful for everyone's dedication and spirit.

A note from our CEO & Founder |
|
|
As I sit in the comfort of my office, hearing the heartbreaking news and reading on social media about the 6-year-old boy with autism who lost his life due to his mother’s anger, I can’t help but stop and think — how could we at Hope Services have helped this family?
As a community, we need to pause and remember to care for one another, especially in times of need. Offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or simply showing compassion can make all the difference.

Thanksgiving, a Season of Gratitude |
|
|
As we welcome November, the cool mornings remind us that this is the month we celebrate Thanksgiving, a time to pause and reflect on the many blessings in our lives.
Let us take a moment to share what we are thankful for: our families, friends, community, careers, health and happiness. Each brings meaning and joy to our days.
As you prepare to open your home for Thanksgiving, consider adding a special chair at your table, a simple reminder of gratitude and the many reasons we have to give thanks.
At Hope Services, we are deeply thankful for the families we serve, our dedicated staff, and the community partners who help make our mission possible each day. Together, we continue to build brighter futures and create opportunities for those living with disabilities and struggling in our community.
From all of us at Hope Services, we wish you a warm, joyful and Happy Thanksgiving!
With gratitude, Cindy Bray, Founder & CEO
