I'm happy we've made it to the middle of fall, which means the end of this election is in sight. I look forward to casting my vote for Hillary! Below in this newsletter is a fantastic selection of films, books, events, and more to dive into this season.
We're also excited to share that we're about to release our new film "50/50: Rethinking the Past, Present & Future of Women + Power" that we've been working on for the past year. The film looks at the last 10,000 years and asks, what's it going to take to get to a 50/50 world? This 20 minute film will premiere on October 27 live at TEDWomen and all the TEDx's, and online and on TV on Refinery29 & Comcast. "50/50" is part of Refinery29’s women director’s series Shatterbox Anthology. We'll send an email when it's live. I'm excited to share it with you!
50/50
Ken and I have have also been working on a new project for The National Museum of American Jewish History as part of its "OPEN for Interpretation" artist-in-residence program.  We'll explore the American Jewish experience using Hollywood film clips. We'd love suggestions of your favorite scenes. The 1 minute video explains how to participate. (The show opens on Dec 14th so those of you on the east coast, we would love to see you there.)
I'm looking forward to taking a deep hibernation in the winter after all this activity.  My weekends with my family are what kept this whole period sane.
To making soup and forts, and watching leaves turn colors,
Tiffany
