Homecoming Weekend is happening from October 16–17, 2026. We look forward to welcoming alumni, families, current students and friends back to campus. 

We invite Iona University's Diamond (Class of 1966) and Golden (Class of 1976) Jubilarian Reunions to join us for our upcoming reunions! We are excited to offer several opportunities throughout the weekend for our reunion classes to gather together, as well as special events for our Golden Gaels (alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago). 

All reunion events are complimentary and all Golden Gaels are invited to attend.

Friday, October 16 | 6 p.m. | Mulcahy Gymnasium

Gordon S. Saint-Denis '91MBA is Executive Vice President of Sports Finance at Northwest Bank, where he leads strategy, credit, underwriting policies, and loan processes for the sports finance market.

Senior Analyst, Goldman Sachs

Vincent Mirabile Jr. '23MBA was born and raised in New Rochelle, New York. He earned his undergraduate degree from SUNY New Paltz, where he developed his skills and interest in business and leadership.

A passionate advocate for the Iona community, Lucille Bootman '17 brings both deep institutional knowledge and a dynamic career in strategic communications to her new role. Since 2022, she has served as the Young Adult Trustee, a role that gave her firsthand insight into the Board’s impact.

Thank you to all who attended our Gaels Go Further End of Year Celebration! More than 130 Iona alumni mentors, mentees, faculty, and staff gathered for an evening of meaningful networking and connection. Designed to support students’ career development and personal growth, Gaels Go Further has become a cornerstone of Iona’s commitment to student success and career readiness. 

The Iona University community came together recently for a truly unforgettable evening at the Pipers’ Ball, celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Iona University Pipe Band - the longest continuously student-run pipe band in the country. Alumni, supporters, and current members of the band gathered to honor six decades of tradition, pride, and connection at Iona University. Here’s to 60 years of tradition and many more still to come!

Thank you to all our Iona University LaPenta School of Business alumni who returned to campus for our Career Chats series! Across two days of classes, students had the opportunity to hear about our alumni's career paths, industry insights, and professional advice.

Iona University launches new program bridging the gap between classroom and workplace

Spring seems like a perfect time to pause and reflect on all those memories that made our college years so special. Many of those memories are graced by the Christian Brothers who taught and coached us! To us, those men will forever be youthful, relevant, challenging, funny, supportive, and inspirational, whether we had them in the classroom, on the field, or on stage! We honor them by remembering them... We hold on to the lessons that they taught us, the stories that they told, and the vocation that they shared with us. 

The Brothers are now reaching out to us with a few survey questions, the answers from which will help guide their deliberations and plans as they move forward in an ever-changing world of need, diversity, and calling.

And as the Brothers would say: “Live Jesus in our Hearts. Forever.” 

Our Gaels Go Further mentoring and networking opportunities bring together alumni, students, faculty and staff to help all Gaels achieve personal and career success.
