The Bolt is keeping a steady pace with new donations coming in every day!  We have some fun events coming up soon like the NSC x WB event, FONDA Fundraiser, Silent Auction, Touch of Brews and more!

BOLT WEEK THREE UPDATE
So far as a school we have raised $41,931.98 towards our $125,000 goal! It's not too late to start or continue fundraising; check out the stats above and our helpful quick-links below! Don't forget to mark your calendars for your child(s)' fun run time and come cheer them on

  • SIGN UP HERE to volunteer at the Bulldog Bolt Fun Runs at Sevier Park on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Any and all parents are invited and welcome to come cheer on the kiddos (even if you want to just be a spectator and not a volunteer)! Check out the grade-level schedule below and mark your calendars. 
    • 4th Grade: 8:25 am - 9:15 am
    • 1st Grade: 9:15 am - 10:15 am
    • 2nd Grade: 10:20 am - 11:20 am
    • Kindergarten: 11:20 am - 12:20 pm
    • 3rd Grade: 12:50 pm - 1:50 pm
    • 5th Grade: 1:50 pm - 2:50 pm
WALK/BIKE TO SCHOOL DAY IS OCTOBER 1
Get ready to move your feet! Meet Coach Dison & Parent Coordinator Andrew Parker at the Sevier Park Basketball courts at 7:15 AM to walk/bike to WB as a group! This is a great way to build community with friends, get some exercise and foster safe walking/biking practices with your kids. Strollers, scooters, bikes, trikes, wagons are all welcome. This is a city-wide event sponsored by Walk/Bike Nashville so schools across Nashville will be participating in their own walk/bike to school events at the same time! So fun for WB to be connected to something bigger than just our community!

Parents...we need a few of you to volunteer to help keep our kiddos safe on the way to school, so be sure to click the link below to volunteer!
VOLUNTEER FOR WALK/BIKE DAY

WBPTO @ TOUCH OF BREWS 

ATTEND: WB PTO will have a booth in the Kid Zone section at Touch of Brews this year from 11am-5pm in Sevier Park!  There will be arts & crafts activities for the kiddos plus a photo op with Belmont the Bulldog!  Donations made at the booth will go directly towards the overall Bulldog Bolt fundraising goal.  WB families and friends can purchase tickets through this designated ticket link and a portion of the proceeds will also go towards the Bulldog Bolt, so please share it with anyone who is planning on attending! (Note: Kids under 12 are free.)

VOLUNTEER: We also need some volunteers to help us represent the tent, hand out crafts for kids, and ask for donations from the community. We are requesting 2 representatives for each 2 hour shift and someone willing to be Belmont the mascot for 1 hour.  Each volunteer will get 1 free ticket to the festival ($35 value)!

NSC X WB SOCCER NIGHT

Nobody does community spirit like Nashville Soccer Club!  Come cheer on the boys in gold on September 27th as they play Huston Dynamo at GEODIS Park. Tickets are $25 each and NSC will donate back $5 of each ticket sold to the WB PTO!  If we are the school that buys the most tickets that night, we will earn a visit from Tempo the Coyote! FUNDRAISER AT FONDA & SILENT AUCTION

Our friends at FONDA are BACK with this amazing fundrasier for the 2nd year in a row!  Join us on October 7th from 6:00 - 8:30 pm for a night of delicious food, festive drinks and a silent auction.  Tickets are $100 per person and we have a limited amount, so be sure to get yours quick!  CLICK HERE to purchase.  This is an adults-only event so be sure to book those babysitters (might we recommend the Wyndy app giveback?). 
We'll be adding a silent auction this year with lots of incredible items up for grabs, look for more info in the October 1st issue of the Bark next week!  The Auction will be open online October 1-8. 
(P.S. Don't forget FONDA is giving all WB families 15% off any take out order for the month of September with the code WB15 when you check out!)
JT MOORE SNACK CLUB
If your 5th grader will be heading to JT Moore next year, be sure to check out their Snack Club!  Beginning Oct 3, snack club will meet at the covered picnic tables at Green Hills Park immediately after school the first Friday of each month.  Bring a snack or drink and a few to share and get to know students from your WB and the other cluster schools!
