| Kids' Farm Camp
Monday through Friday, August 7th - 11th, 2023 | 9am - 2pm
Camp is back at Hilltop Hanover! Spend a day, two days, or a whole week with us as we bask in the summer season on the farm. Kids will explore the forest spaces, the growing spaces, harvest and cook a farm fresh meal, meet the animals, play games, get dirty, get wet, plant seeds, pull weeds, and enjoy being outdoors in the best time of year.
Register for a couple of days or the whole week: spots fill up quickly for these camps, so don’t wait! Bring your own lunch, water bottle, and snacks – we’ll only provide tasty bites from the fields.
$60 per child, $85 for two or more, ages 6+

| Community Farm to Table Cooking
First Saturdays of the month: August 5th, 2023 | 10:00am - 12:30pm
Experience your food like never before, from source to belly, as we take you through the organic growing process, harvest ingredients together, and prepare a seasonal meal in our farm kitchen. Engage with the roots of the emerging local food movement, learn the relationship between real food and lifelong nutrition and health, and discuss the impacts of sustainable and organic practices. Meet our farmers and growers, ask questions, and enjoy the best of the seasonal produce the farm has to offer!

Growing and Tasting Microgreens Workshop

What are microgreens and why are they so amazing? How does Hilltop consistently have a fresh supply of these nutrition-packed, flavorful micros? And can any plant be grown as a microgreen? Come find out in this class with assistant farm manager Jess Farrenkopf, taste the wide variety of greens, and get ready to go micro!

Tiny Farmers
Tuesdays through end of August, 2023 | 10:00am - 11:00am
Spend the morning at the farm with your little ones and enjoy all the farm has to offer! Over the course of the summer, we’ll meet the animals, play with seeds, discover new plants and taste fresh produce, get creative with flowers and herbs, and explore the forest trails. Each week will feature an exciting activity and lots of time outdoors (weather permitting), so be sure to join us!
For kids up to 5 years old and their caregivers, $15 per family

| Community Work Day
Saturday, August 12th, 2023 | 9:00am - 12:00pm
Community members of all ages are invited to join us for a morning of shared work. Learn alongside our farmers and experience the bounty of our fields. Fun for everyone is guaranteed!
All ages and abilities are welcome. Stay for as long or as little as you would like.
Registration is not required, but it is helpful to know to expect you.

Tomato Tasting Tours
Saturdays and Sundays, August 12th - 27th, 2023 | 10:30-11:30am
While tomatoes are in peak season, join Hilltop’s farmers as we eat our way through our greenhouse and field tomato growing spaces, learning about varieties, what makes an heirloom, and which cherry tomatoes are the sweetest. Come experience this magical month on the farm while the fruits are hanging thick on the vine! Offered Saturday and Sunday mornings through the end of August.
$20 per person, $35 per family. All ages welcome. Kids under 10 must be accompanied by a participating adult, kids 5 and under are free.

| Beekeeping Series: Honey Harvest
Sunday, August 13th, 2023 | 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Honey bees are back at Hilltop Hanover! For this class, the fourth in our bee-related series, we’ll be looking at where honey comes from. Come see how honeycombs full of honey are prepared for bottling. Things may get a little sticky so dress appropriately. This is a great class for the kids. The class will be presented by D. J. Haverkamp of Bedford Bee Honeybee Service.

Preserving Series: Tomatoes and Sauces
Thursday, August 24th, 2023 | 10:00am - 12:00pm
Capture the summer sunlight, and turn the seasonal bounty into a yearlong feast! This winter, open up a jar of summertime and enjoy a taste of the season's best: join us for our preserving series with Maggy Keet of Planetarian Life. Our second class, all about tomatoes, will offer varieties of blended sauces, perfect for the fresh tomatoes and herbs abounding in August!
$30 per person, $55 per family
