November 17 - 21 is International Education Week. The Graduate School will be hosting Global Voices: A Coffeehouse Conversation on International Research on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, 12 - 1:30 p.m. With a “speakeasy coffee talk” atmosphere, attendees will enjoy a light lunch, coffee, and meaningful dialogue centered on the value of international education and collaboration.
We are currently seeking graduate students who would like to present their international research, and encourage you to apply.

International Education Week: Global Voices: A Coffeehouse Conversation on International Research
Join us on Wednesday, November 19, from 12 - 1:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall Memorial Room (202) for "Global Voices: A Coffeehouse Conversation on International Research" during International Education Week. This lunchtime event will showcase the international research of graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in a relaxed atmosphere. We will invite 5-6 presenters to share their work while attendees enjoy a light lunch and coffee. If selected, you will be an invited presenter. Submit your abstract by Friday, November 7. Attendees can RSVP here.

Gratitude Month
November is Gratitude Month, and The Graduate School is teaming up with the Center for Spiritual and Religious Life (CSRL) to host the Gratitude Challenge on Instagram. The aim is to promote well-being and connection through daily gratitude prompts such as “Share a positive memory with someone you’ve lost touch with” or “Thank a professor or mentor.” On Thursday, November 13, we will give away swag to the first 10 graduate students who visit us in our office located in the basement of Alumni Hall (Room 010).
