Bats Game
Take me out to the ball game! Our residents enjoyed another visit to Slugger Field. They cheered for the Bats under the stars and had a great time.

Visual Arts
Art is all around us, including at Day Spring. The residents showed off their drawing skills this month. So much beautiful art came from a simple circle.

Shine Fall Festival
A Wop Bop A Loo Bop! It was a great night at the Shine Festival. With a 1950's theme, our residents boogied, hung out with friends and had a shining time!

We celebrated our Direct Support Professionals during DSP Appreciation week! Each day, treats were delivered to show appreciation to staff who work closest with the people we serve. Posters and hand written notes with words of encouragement and inspiration were delivered. And each DSP received a special custom made t-shirt.
Direct Support Professionals at Day Spring are real heroes. You work hard every day and we truly appreciate you!

September brought multiple groups of volunteers to Day Spring. Over 30 volunteers from Metro United Way joined us for their Day of Action. Employees from Fifth Third Bank and Republic Bank accomplished many projects around the Day Spring campus! Holy Cross High School students also visited Day Spring for their Great Day of Service. And our Board of Directors Chair, Becca Krall led friends and community members in a weekend volunteer event. We are thankful for those who donated their time and talent.
It's been a busy Fall so far.
