Saving Electricity, Saving Water
Hydropower is one of the oldest forms of electricity production dating all the way back to Ancient Greece. We still rely heavily on rivers and dams to generate the electricity we need every day to power our homes, schools, and work.
Being careful with electricity is a great way to be waterwise. We can save energy everyday just like we save water. Those reservoirs behind our hydroelectric dams and in the rivers that generate power need to stay filled with water to work. Years of drought have made it hard to maintain high levels. By being responsible with the way we use electricity, we ensure that all the water used is put to good use!
