Faculty Member's Play About Ford, Social Justice Keeps Gaining Audience
A play written by Grand Valley's Allison Metz, associate professor of theatre, continues to gain popularity across the state of Michigan. The show, which tells the story of President Gerald R. Ford and an African American teammate on the University of Michigan football team, has exceeded expectations with continued interest of additional showings.
Grand Valley collaborated with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation and Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum in order to bring the show to life, and are grateful to see the positive momentum the show has gained in its two-year lifespan.
